Located in the heart of London, O Tino Restaurant serves as a cozy haven for aficionados of Portuguese cuisine. Customers rave about the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive, friendly service from the family-owned establishment. The diverse menu is laden with traditional dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone, including vegetarian options.
Reviewers like Samuel Douglas and Ricardo Marcelino particularly highlight the freshness of the food. The dishes come alive with bold flavors, such as the notably spicy chili sauce that many find irresistible. Ricardo, for instance, labels O Tino as home to some of the best Portuguese food he's encountered outside of Portugal, with prices that surprisingly remain fair for London. Visitors also can look forward to personal touches, such as chef Elizabete engaging with customers, sharing insights about her cooking.
The ambiance mirrors a traditional Portuguese tavern—a perfect backdrop for savoring homemade-like meals. Whether indulging in starters, or rich main dishes like Muamba, diners feel transported back to Portugal. With glowing reviews, it’s no surprise people like Goncalo Esteves give O Tino a perfect score, promising to return. If you're on the lookout for authentic Portuguese flavors in London, O Tino Restaurant certainly deserves a visit.

Came across this beauty of a restaurant with my brother when we were down in Camden for a gig. We ended up ordering a few starters to share and we chose the best selection. Not only was everything made fresh, the chili sauce is HOT! The service is very welcoming, great food and great atmosphere. We'll be returning again!

I had heard of O Tino before, but only this weekend did I get to try it fors the first time. I wasn't disappointed — this is one of the best Portuguese food I've had outside Portugal. The prices were very fair for London standards and the staff was just so friendly and welcoming. I can't remember the name of the man who waited on us, be was as nice as one can be. And the chef, Elizabete, was not only a wonderful cook, but also came over to our table a few times, first to ask me if I had had Muamba before - an Angolan delicious dish - and to explain to me how to best enjoy it. She was just lovely. I can't recommend this place enough.

From the traditional Portuguese tavern style ambience to the flavourful and tasty with a homemade feel to it, it was a treat all around. Highly recommend if you want to have homemade like Portuguese cuisine and feel like you are back in Portugal. 10/10 , will definitely return

Great experience food was amazing. Olives were not the greatest but that's minimal.

First time at O Tino, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the place had a great community feel to it. The pork platter was excellent and very filling, and the pastel de nata was fresh and beautifully flaky, a perfect way to cap off a delicious meal.

Brilliant casual spot in Camden. The carne de porco a alentejana was delicious as was the bacalao a minhota. The Benfica/Sporting final in the background made it a lively atmosphere for certain! Do not hesitate and go now!

It has been a while since I visited this restaurant, and happily it has not changed a bit. The same nice friendly people serving the best traditional portuguese dishes. If you want to enjoy Portuguese food as you would do on your holiday in Portugal this is the place to go. I love fish, and portuguese have so many wonderful dishes you going to feel spoiled for choice. We definitely need to try again, there's so much left in the menu that we want to try. Lovely experience.
